| Samsung launches Galaxy S5 in Sri Lanka |
Samsung Electronics,Sri Lanka`s Leading Smart phone manufacturer introduced the fifth generation of Galaxy, S5 in the domestic market.Samsung said the price of Galaxy S5 is Rs.111490. It will be available in the market from April 11 on-wards.
"The GALAXY S5 is yet another great proof point of people-inspired innovation developed by Samsung.Designed to be both effortlessly smart and intuitively simple,the GALAXY S5 has been created to maximize consumer benefits by integrating superior hardware with enhanced smartphone usability and an iconic design,"said H.K Chang,Managing director,Samsung India Electronic Limited Sri Lanka branch.
The features include a 16-megapixel camera,fastest WiFi performance,LTE cat 4(150/50 Mbps) and Octa-core processor capable of operating all 8 cores at the same time,said a company release.

and it comes with finger scanner and bio-metric screen locking, dust and water resistant and battery consumption features.Galaxy S5 also introduces S Health 3.0, a fitness application.

Samsung also said that Gear Fit, Gear 2 Neo and Gear 2 will also be available in Sri Lanka from April 11.Gear 2 is priced at Rs.44999 and both Galaxy Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit are priced at Rs.29999.
