Google launches Good To know in Sri Lanka |

Google Inc,the American multinational corporation which provides Internet-related products and services, including internet search, cloud computing, software and advertising technologies has joined hands with Sri Lanka's Information Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) and the Ministry of Child Development and Women's Affairs to launch its 'Good to Know' Internet safety campaign.
Google’s Good to Know campaign aims to help people stay safe on the Internet and manage the information they share online.
The campaign will be launched on 29th November at the Mount Lavinia Hotel,Sri lanka.
Around 150 representatives from student leaders, government officials, media, teachers, NGOs’ and other stakeholders have been invited for the event, according to a media statement issued by Rohan Jayaweera, Google Sri Lanka’s Country Consultant.
Minister of Child Development and Women's Affairs Tissa Karalliyadde, Program Director of ICTA Wasantha Deshapriya and Country Lead, Public Policy & Government Affairs, Southeast Asia at Google Mike Orgill will participate in the ceremony to launch the safety campaign.
