Pakistani Army Chief to arrive in Sri Lanka for three-day visit

Pakistani Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani arrived today in Sri Lanka for a three-day visit as Indian Air Force chief wrapped his official tour of the nation. General Kayani was accorded a welcome by the Sri Lankan army chief Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya at theKatunayake international airport here upon his arrival, airport officials said.This will be his second visit as he previously visited Sri Lanka in January 2011.

During his stay in Sri Lanka, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani will meet the top military leadership of the country.and Army Chief was scheduled to meet Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapksha and External Affairs minister G L Pieris.
