India, chasing a huge target of 349, were all out for 187 off 44.5 overs.Mahela Jayawardena and Upul Tharanga posted a opening wicket partnership of 213 to guide Sri Lanka to a total of 348/1.Mahela Jayawardena scored 107 while Upul Tharanga was unbeaten on 174 runs. Rangana Herath picked up 3 wickets for 37 runs.
India won the toss and elected to field.
