Oman Air Golf Classic 2013
The annual Oman Air Golf Classic 2013 is set to tee off at the Victoria Golf and Country Resort at Digana, Kandy, on 10th and 11th of August 2013. Organised by the Victoria Golf and Country Resort and sponsored by Oman Air, the tournament will feature prominent golf enthusiasts from the Middle East and Sri Lanka facing off for the top spots. This year's tournament will feature the participation of over 100 golfers, with the winners receiving a grand prize of a voucher worth Rs.100,000/- from Oman Air. The golfers will be taking to the green for the positions of Overall winner and Runner up, plus Gross Winner, Nearest to the pin and Longest Driver in both the ladies and gents categories.

Last November, Oman Air unveiled its new Airbus A330 Economy, Business and First Class cabins. Each cabin offers fantastic comfort, space and in-flight entertainment that offers audio video on demand and live satellite TV. The current introduction of mobile and wi-fi connectivity in all classes, a world first, has seen the A330-300 described as “the most highly connected international widebody in operation today". Economy seats have a 34-inch pitch and the lie-flat Business Class seat offers greater levels of comfort and amenity than many other airlines’ first class products.
