Postal voting in the ten Districts of the Northern, Northwestern and Central Provincial Council election will be held today and tomorrow at relevant government institutions.
Elections Department sources said that 111, 383 government servants were eligible to cast postal votes at the government sanctioned state offices, including camps of the Security Forces, Civil Defence Force (CDF) and police stations.

Those who are unable to cast their votes on Sept. 09 and 10 can do so at Assistant Election Commissioners’ offices on Sept. 12, 13, 14.


According to the Elections Department, the majority of postal voters, 46,374, were in the Kurunegala District and there were 250 centres in the District.
