Chandrika Subashini and Kasun Kalhara of Sri Lanka won Gold medals in 400 meters women’s and men’s races respectively at the 89th Malaysian Open Athletics Championship 2013.
Also Manjula Kumara cleared a height of 2.20 metres to win men’s high jump. IAAF World Championship participant Kalhara produced a personal best performance of 46.65 seconds.The Malaysian Open Athletics Championships is held on 19th and 20th of October.
