Pope Francis would arrive in Sri Lanka on January 13 next year(2015),as it had been finalized by the Sri Lankan Bishops who visited Vatican recently, inside sources of the Catholic Church in Colombo says.
A Catholic website which quoted Pope Francis would also visit the Church of Our Lady in Madhu, Mananr.
However, the official spokesman of the Archdiocese of Colombo Fr. Benadict Joseph said the Church in Sri Lanka would make an official announcement on the Pope’s visit shortly.
