| Holiday for Muslim schools on Sep 25 |
The Ministry of Education has decided to declare September 25, Friday as a holiday for Muslim schools in the country, marking the Haj festival.
The decision was taken based on a request made by the Minister of Post and Muslim Religious Affairs from the Minister of Education. All Provincial Directors have advised to replace the holiday by holding school on Saturday the 3rd of October as an additional school day.
