Samsung Electronics in Sri Lanka recently concluded its ‘60 Days of Happiness’ celebrations and has now begun giving away daily and weekly prizes in the run-up to unveiling the grand-prize winner of the promotion. All Samsung customers with Dialog connections who purchased a new Samsung smartphone between September 7 and November 6, 2015, were eligible to win a prize.

Samsung also conducted a mobile truck promotion across the country in all the provinces and major towns, which was amplified via an integrated communications campaign which featured TV, radio, social media and print advertisements. The island-wide truck promotion provided Samsung customers with free gifts, access to easy payment schemes and gave them the opportunity to participate in the draw and stand the chance to win an array of exciting prizes. The daily prizes include DVD Players, and 24 inch TVs which will be given away over the course of eight weeks. The weekly prizes include refrigerators and 32 inch Curve TVs. Finally, one lucky winner will walk away with the grand prize of a brand new KIA Sportage, of which the winner will be announced shortly.

In order to provide equal opportunities to all of its loyal customers, Samsung engaged communities across Sri Lanka and made the promotion applicable to its entire smartphone range. Therefore, customers who purchased an entry-level smartphone, which is an upgrade to a more basic feature phone, and those who purchased the latest smartphone such as the Galaxy S6 edge+, were all given an equal chance of walking away with the grand prize of the KIA Sportage or any other gift.
