Sylvia Yammine, was crowned "Mrs. Globe in 2015", succeeding the Chinese Gao Yigian. Lebanese beautiful beat forty five candidates come from 60 countries, including China, the United States, Russia, Australia, Italy, Sri Lanka, France or the Philippines. This year marked the 18th edition of the beauty pageant founded in the United States in 1996 and reserved for married women.
Yammine hails from Zgharta in North Lebanon, and is a Harvard University graduate. She said that "this competition shows that women are able to learn, work and excel while preserving their beauty at the same time."
