John Key meets with President |
Prime Minister of New Zealand John Phillip Key, who is in Sri Lanka on a two-day official visit, today describing the island nation as the 'Shining Light of Asian Region' said there are enormous opportunities available in Sri Lanka for New Zealand entrepreneurs and investors.
The President introduced the Sri Lanka ministers and other high-ranking officials to the visiting Prime Minister. Thereafter, President Sirisena and Prime Minister Key held bilateral discussions. Both countries inked several agreements.
President Maithripala Sirisena presented a deed of ownership for five-year-old "Nandi" during a red-carpet welcome in Colombo for Key, who arrived for a two-day official visit.
